Welcome to my weekly Social Media Challenge!
This week we are taking a look at a great legendary card i recently discovered called Uriel The Purifier. This is a great card with with some massive stats and a great new ability called Recharge which can be very effective in battles.
Uriel was amongst the many Pelacor that fled Solaki and its military regime when he was young. He found himself in Khymeria, like so many of his brothers and sisters, but even though they practised with life magic it just didn’t feel quite pure enough for him and so he travelled to different Worlds, seeking somewhere he could find that elusive clarity of virtue.
Here are the stats..
This is a 99 mana level battle with all Splinters allowed except Water and Death.
The Rulest is Equalizer and Spreading Fury.
Equalizer - The initial Health of all Monsters is equal to that of the Monster on either team with the highest base Health.
Spreading Fury - All Monsters have the Enrage ability.
Summoner: Chanseus The Great
This is another great card i have just discovered with some amazing abilities. Chanseus is the ultimate Healer! He is here to keep Uriel alive with his Armour Repair ability and to bring him back from the dead with the Resurrect ability. All of this while healing the back line with Triage.
In the first position i have Uriel The Purifier at level 2 so he also gains the heal ability to keep him alive long enough hopefully to utilise the Recharge ability properly.
In second place we have Luminous Eagle with the Reach ability which allows melee attack monsters to attack from the second posiion. This will provide great support for my tank and with the Flying ability and 3 speed this monster is hard to target.
In third place i have Djinn Renova to boost my teams health with the Strengthen ability and to provide much needed magic attack support.
In the fourth place we have Venari Crystalsmith with the Tank Heal ability to help keep Uriel alive. I have him in this position as he is well protected on both sided which should help to keep him alive longer.
In fifth place we have the Stitch Leech monster with the Sneak ability to take out the enemies back line.
At the back i have Pelecor Arbalest with the excellent Double Strike ability which means he attacks twice each round!
Here is my Battle featuring Uriel.
The Battle has now begun and due to the Equaliser rule set we do not see our first casualty until the Second round when Uriel destroys the enemies tank Pelacor Mercenary!
Sadly the Second round concludes with the enemies Wood Nymph monster killing Uriel after taking several hits but lucky for me my summoner uses his magic to resurrect him.
At the start of the Third round it doesnt look good for Uriel with only 1 health but he immediately gets healed by himself and Wood Nymph to a respectable 9 health! When using the Resurrect it is essential to have a healer on hand.
Round Four kicks off with Uriel obliterating Venari Scout but the enemies Goblin Psychic monster then kills Uriel!
We have no more fatalities until mid way through Round 6 when Goblin Psychic is taken out after being hit by three of my front line.
In Round 7 we see Wood Nymph killing my Luminous Eagle but not too worry. I am pretty confident of a win. The round is over when my Venari Crystalsmith wipes out Queen Mycelia!
Wood Nymph tries to hold on with Tank Heal as she is now upfront but she takes a beating after getting hit by all members of my team. The battle is won when Djinn Biljka is finally destroyed in Round 10 with Pelacor Arbelest landing the killing blow.
