A few strategies come to mind. 1: watch hive-engine like a hawk for fluctuations in DEC, SPS, Chaos packs, etc. and to snatch them up for cheap when possible as if you notice on your SPS Management page on Splinterlands Airdrop points come from many different options and not just cards. 2: obviously accumulate the best collection of cards you can as that'll obviously give more rewards. 3: rent out cards on peakmonsters and use added DEC to enlarge collection overtime or to just hold DEC as that'll also increase rewards.

Thank you, been doing that with my wife's account. I love your insights <3
Hey cheers, it's a nice summary, and I'm doing all of the above. I get quite a nice drop of almost 700 a day ATM.
But I was thinking more along the lines of timing SPS sells in order to buy back and where the bottom might be.
ATM I'm just settling for selling some into BNB and pooling on Cub - that may sound counter intuitive, but I'm expecting SPS to go lower than it is now, the question is when do I come out of that pool and buy back!
You think it'll go lower than 40 cents? I think it should be over a dollar in the next two weeks but maybe I'm wrong. I guess it depends on how many new people join between now and Chaos release and how much Chaos brings in.
Over $1 would give a fully diluted market cap of over $10 billion, great than Axie Infinity, that would just be silly!
I mean it was at 95 cents in October of last year prior to any of this Chaos release business so why would a dollar after if the player pool doubled over the next few months seem that far off? Axie Infinity isn't anything that great and it's a $500+ starting point just to buy in. If Splinterlands updates bring in say double the current player base over the next year which I think it could than I feel a dollar would easily be achievable.
Possibly, but there's almost no point holding it ATM, it has no real use value.
That of course could change, and probably will!
Utlimately I think value will flow to SPS but I just think it's going to take a while!
For example I'd rather sell SPS and spend on DEC ATM and Chaos Packs, but in the long run DEC has to be sold for SPS I think.
It's just a matter of timing which can be tricky.
Holding SPS right now earns interest and helps with drops though and once we're into official sale starting in 6 1/2 days it'll still help us get vouchers from my understanding so I think it'll be worth to hold some at bare minimum.
Agreed the timing of trying to figure out when to do what is going to be really tricky. Like will the whales open all their packs and sell/rent cards? Will they sell vouchers or sell packs? Will they sit on them? Etc. I'm not sure what the general consensus will be or if there will be one for that matter.
Regardless I think it's a good time to be holding Hive/involved with Splinterlands. So hopefully we're all in for a good ride over the next year.
I'm just doing something of everything - staking some SPS, pooling with DEC, buying packs, I think cards are the main assets ATM, so plenty of them too!
I think whatever assets we pick we're not going to lose, it's just a matter of which one wins the hardest within the game!
