I'm brand new to Hive and blockchain, so there is a lot I do not understand. Hence, there might be a very obvious answer to my question. But, since I don't know I'm asking.

SQRL
Steve Gibson has developed a truly brilliant open standard for logging into websites, called SQRL. A demonstration of the technology can be seen here:

Here is some additional information:

And to test out this piece of tech for yourself, download an SQRL client in App Store or Play Store, and log in with it here:

Could an SQRL client replace the need of several keys?
With SQRL no site has any secret passwords or keys to store. The site only needs to store the public keys. Your secret key is stored with you, on your computer, or on your phone, and accessed via the SQRL client when you do an operation, like logging in. Would it be possible to use SQRL for blockchain technologies, like Hive? If you could simply log into a hive dApp using SQRL it would make life so much simpler and more secure.

Hiya. Reaching out since i found your names in Hive Projects Community. Hope you don't mind. As you see from my post I'm wondering if SQRL can replace the need of keys, or be used as a means to manage the key. Am I way off here? Would love to get feedback. Thank you.

Since no Hivers replied I reached out to the GRC community:
