Greetings to all friends of steemit, especially to the growing community of Venezuelans who are entering this wonderful network. Today I want to show you the plaza of the Rosary of the Virgin of Chiquinquirá or Chinita monument located in front of the basilica of the city of Maracaibo in Venezuela. Since its opening in 2004 this beautiful walk has become an icon of our city and a tourist reference for those who visit us. As a good marabina I am a devotee of the Virgin of Chiquinquirá and I admire this beautiful construction made in her honor.
For those who do not know the place, they should know about the high temperatures that they make in our Zulia region and to be in this square at the time of the day when the sun sets right above us, is to experience the full effect of our characteristic climate, however, as you can see the plaza has many trees that provide a good shade in the place where the seats are, which allows many of us who are passing through the city center to rest a while in this warm place , also taking advantage of the passage of ice cream sellers who work in the area to freshen up a bit with an ice cream or a brush as we say the maracuchos. Although at night the experience is different, the pleasant nighttime climate characterized by a constant wind in this open space makes the stay much more pleasant.
I hope you like my humble grain of sand and I appreciate your support and opinion
