Due to the terrorists bombings in Sri Lanka, the government had decided to ban social network for temporary because mis guided information is being passed. To stop the inaccurate stories regarding bombings the government of Sri Lanka decided to ban social networks like facebook, whatsapp, viber, instagram, YouTube to stop misinformation passage.
Twitter is excepted because of its use is less than compared to the other social networks. The effect of this ban is showing good results except the ones that are in emergency situations.
