My family and I spent the day at the the First Wayne Children's Zoo. I have to say I was pretty impressed with this place. Lots of good interactive exhibits for the kids and lots of shady spots for adults. It was clearly designed with some thought given to it.

I felt pretty lucky to get this shot of a sea lion in motion.

It was underling how much the dingoes looked and acted like domesticated dogs.

I really liked watching the orangutans play.

I was able to get really close to this giraffe.

This albino peacock was really cool, and a great way to end the day.

If you have kids, this is a great place to spend the day. We had fun.

That orangutan photo is great!

I was in Australia at place called Fraser Island. It’s basically a giant sandbar. I was sitting at a picnic table having a popsicle and out of nowhere a dingo appeared! It was less than 5 feet from me, the table and my popsicle. I wasn’t sure if I was supposed to be scared or just treat it like a regular domesticated dog. We just hung out for a little bit and it went away. And obviously I survived. 😄 I still don’t know if it was crazy to be hay close to one in the wild! 😂🤣
