Engineering is one of the most difficult profession. What I feel is Engineering is really difficult, involves alot of hard work and academic efficiency to get through the levels. An Engineer is enables his brain to think structurally and algorithmically to find solutions to most of the existing problems in this world. Yet many Engineers are Unemployed in India.
This image is a view of rooms of Engineers at the start of their course.
This is how it looks afterwards.
There are certain reasons which lead to this conclusion.
Most Engineers are engineers in India because their parents forced them to be one.
Even the students these days don't have any career plans. They don't even decide for themselves what interests them. So much crowd in India believes in trying Engineering and doing their interests after that.
Many people who take up engineering as their field of study can't cope up with the academic pressure. Engineering also involves a lot of hard work with a combination of smart work.
People have different Aims in life. They tend to take other options to build their career while pursuing Engineering. Some opt for UPSC, finance and management.
People go with the flow. They take up science after 10th and just to cope up with competition join JEE coaching classes and finally get into Engineering!
So these were some reasons why much Engineers remain unemployed. Simply because they don't turn up to be those good quality Engineers which any industry needs.
I myself am pursuing Engineering from PEC, Chandigarh, feel that very few people are becoming true engineers and they are actually earning engineering jobs!
So my personal advice is think and plan your career before you make any choice.
Thanks.
