REDUCING THE POSSIBILITIES OF STRESS.

Stress is one of the challenges of any busy person you know. Stress lies right in the day to day schedule of that busy man or woman working tirelessly and patiently to make ends meet, it could be in one way or the other an inevitable design to the busy hustler.

But then, you might want to ask yourself, does stress really hit up because of schedule and then can it be prevented?
So many answers might just pop up trying to resolve the question tags attached to the topic. Like a friend will sometimes say that the only way to avoid stress is to stay idle. To an extent this is very true, since stress comes up as a result of the activities of man which some how exceed the capacity of work the human body can control at that point in time. As a matter of fact we all understand that somehow the human body has a limit and capacity to which it can carry out physical functions, and anything above it's normal capacity will result to a breakdown of the body's system and apparently this will be noticed through certain usual symptoms.

SOME FEW SYMPTOMS OF STRESS

We feel stressed out when we notice the following :
*Slight headache (sometimes partial)
*Dizziness
*General body weakness
*Reddish eye colouration
-and in some cases, Malaria like urine colouration.

All these are the common and well known signs or symptoms that someone has overworked his/her body cells. But then, how can we avoid the negation in stress? I.e is there a way for stress to be prevented or is it even possible to prevent stress? Let's see!
Well the answer is yes! Before we can prevent stress we have to be aware of what causes stress, which is normally over working the body cells out of its capacity. For example if too much work causes stress then preventing stress will simply mean one should not overwork himself.

Somehow it is advisable to understand the human body has limits it could go with physical work and going on with that, it is advisable for us all to understand our limits and not try to exceed it.
We humans are programmed to grow stronger, faster, and smarter; to climb higher, live longer, and populate every last inch of real estate. We’ve toppled scores of world records over the past few decades, but how much more progress can we make? No matter how we enhance our natural capabilities, our potential is bound by certain scientific principles—laws of physics, biomechanics, and thermodynamics—that don’t yield to human ambition. We asked scientists to define where, exactly, those boundaries lie, and to provide some take-home tips that’ll help you stretch your own potential.

Let's see how stress can be avoided and as well tackled.

  1. Avoid Caffeine, Alcohol, and Nicotine.
Avoid, or at least reduce, your consumption of nicotine and any drinks containing caffeine and alcohol. Caffeine and nicotine are stimulants and so will increase your level of stress rather than reduce it.

Alcohol is a depressant when taken in large quantities, but acts as a stimulant in smaller quantities. Therefore using alcohol as a way to alleviate stress is not ultimately helpful.

  2. Indulge in Physical Activity
Stressful situations increase the level of stress hormones such as adrenaline and cortisol in your body.sportswoman-jumping-picture-id610851582.jpg
These are the “fight or flight” hormones that evolution has hard-wired into our brains and which are designed to protect us from immediate bodily harm when we are under threat.

  3. Get More Sleep
A lack of sleep is a significant cause of stress. Unfortunately though, stress also interrupts our sleep as thoughts keep whirling through our heads, stopping us from relaxing enough to fall asleep.
Rather than relying on medication, your aim should be to maximise your relaxation before going to sleep.

  4. Try Relaxation Techniques
Each day, try to relax with a stress reduction technique. There are many tried and tested ways to reduce stress so try a few and see what works best for you.

  5. Learn to Say ‘No’
A common cause of stress is having too much to do and too little time in which to do it. And yet in this situation, many people will still agree to take on additional responsibility. Learning to say “No” to additional or unimportant requests will help to reduce your level of stress, and may also help you develop more self-confidence.

It's indeed necessary and intricate for us to fill up our schedules, but then it's also advisable and even more important that we don't disrupt the normal functioning of our health, at work or at home. After all only the healthy can be truly wealthy just as health is wealth. Steemon!!
