"Listen, my son! Listen, son of my womb! Listen, my son, the answer to my prayers!
Do not spend your strength on women, your vigor on those who ruin kings.
It is not for kings, Lemuel—it is not for kings to drink wine, not for rulers to crave beer, lest they drink and forget what has been decreed, and deprive all the oppressed of their rights.
Let beer be for those who are perishing, wine for those who are in anguish!
Let them drink and forget their poverty and remember their misery no more."

Proverbs 31 : 2 - 7 NIV

Mark Dekoda was an educated successful business man. One who could be adjudged to be a complete gentleman from the way he walks, dress and even talks.
He was the true picture of what true success really is.. Being just 33 years of age he was already a CEO of one of the most successful Real Estate Agencies in the Country and sat at the boards of many multinational companies..
He was the envy of all, but of all this his earthly achievements, the chiefest of them all to him as he had always said was the salvation of his soul eight years ago.
And anyone that had the Privilege of knowing Mark would know that he wasn't just a christian in words but in practice..he could best be described as a "practicing christian". One that puts his faith first before business or anyother thing..
Maybe that's why God must had blessed him massively very early at such a young age.

"Seek ye first the kingdom of God and every other thing shall be added unto thee"
Matthew 6:33

Traveling first class with European airline when it was initially lauched, during one of his business trips to London.
An air hostess approached him with a complimentary drink, which was an alcoholic drink, but he politely refused.

The air hostess came back but this time brought the drink on a better designed platter, to appeal and impress him. However, Mark again politely refused, explaining he doesn't drink alcohol.
The air hostess found this disturbing and informed the manager. The manager approached Mark with another platter, now better designed with flowers. He questioned,
“Please Sir, Is there anything wrong with our service? Please enjoy the drink, it is a complimentary offer from the airline.”

Mark replied, “I am a Christian and I do not drink alcohol?

The manager with a wave of the hand replied I'm a christian too, and so are a majority of other occupants of this first class cabin.

While still insisting that Mark takes the drink, Mark proposed that the manager should give the drink to the pilot first.
The manager stated, “How can the pilot drink alcohol, he’s on duty! And if he drinks there are all chances for the plane to crash”

Mark with tears in his eyes, replied,

“I am a Christian and I am ALWAYS on duty in order to protect my FAITH and if I Drink Alcohol I will crash my whole life here and hereafter. I AM 100% ON DUTY!"

Maybe yours might not be an alcohol, it may be tempting you with sex as it was done to Joseph, battling with how to control your anger, profane and vain babblings, your dressing , your attitude towards people and finally not sharing the Word.
Do you know that souls are dying because of those reckless behaviours of ours?
WE ARE 100% ON DUTY

Let's Resteem this Post and be a blessing to someone.

I have shared this with you 'cos I am on duty!

Think on these things

Good Morning and God bless you.

Jesus turned water to wine in the bible. Proverbs 23:20

Don't drink too much wine and get drunk; don't eat too much food and get fat

1 timothy 5:23

23 Stop drinking only water, and use a little wine because of your stomach and your frequent illnesses.

The thing is not to drink excessively but it's not also bad if you don't drink at all.

Thanks so much for stopping by and for your useful comment. I'm at least glad that we have a common ground in agreeing that the bible entirely frowns at drunkeness.
It's only by drinking alchohol that one can get drunk...right?
So why don't we see how far we can get away from sin? Instead of how close we can get to sin without commiting it?
Think on these things my brother.
Once again thank you so much for stopping by and God bless you @langford
