LASSA-FEVER BREAKS OUT IN NIGERIA.
The new outbreak of Lassa-fever in Nigeria has raised alot of mixed-reactions. Notably, rat which happens to be the carrier of this deadly disease is traditionally consumed as meats, meals etc in some parts of country.
However, Nigeria has been challenged with another outbreak of disease called Lassafever. This illness is contacted when you consume any product that is in contact with an infected rat's urine or waste dispose.
This outbreak has been recorded in some states in Nigeria which includes Nasarawa State, Benue and Plateau state.
Nigerians are therefore adviced to be careful with what they eat, how they eat it and where they preserve it.
