I planted my head as a boy so I will not bow as a man

The call to serve ones country is what every patriotic citizen is supposed to answer joyfully.
These call could come in the form of leadership role, managerial positions, sportmanship, music etc.
I fell in love with the military at a very tender age when I watched a war movie.
Ever since that day, my mind was poised towards doing things that were military inclined. I played children plays like war started and chasing the enemy. I made guns out of wood by simply carving them out for my play.

After my nursery education, I gained admission into the Nigerian Military School(NMS) where my dreams were still kept alive.

Here, I got to interact and associate with military personnel, gaining orientation and trying replicate their lifestyle. The kickoff point was quite difficult but I began to adapt.
I learnt military drills, how to introduce oneself and basic military principles.To see my dream come to fruition, I gained admission into the prestigious Nigerian Defense Academy (NDA).
Things became real here, I was taught how to handle rifles and stotguns. How to assemble and disassemble the guns. The military drills became more severe. Tasks were given us to accomplish as these daily taks showed our progress in the academy.

Two years out of the four have gone past me now as I have graduation in view.
