RE: Star Wars blog #7: Lords of the Sith (book review)

Thanks for the comment @ethandsmith! I went thru two phase of reading Star Wars books... back when I was in high school (mid 90's) and then since the new cannon started. If you want a good book that will make watching Rogue One a richer experience I recommend reading Catalyst. That's another GOOD book! Thanks for the comment!

Which ones were your favorite in high school? I've read the Thrawn Trilogy and the Corellia trilogy, and I've wanted to read the X-Wing series. I've also read some of the Old Republic novels. I'll check out Catalyst too.

Thrawn trilogy was a must read in high school. I also read Kevin J Anderson's Jedi Academy trilogy, Truce at Bakura, Wedge's Gamble, Wraith Squadron, The Courtship of Princess Leia, and the Black Fleet Crisis trilogy in high school and the years after. Right around the time of the Phantom Menace coming out I stopped reading the books.

Some of the new books I'm looking to begin over the next 6 months to year are the new Thrawn book, Tarkin, Battle Front II: Inferno Squad, and Aftermath: Empire's End. It's a lot of books, but I've got time on my train rides home after work.

Yes. I'm interested in the new Thrawn book. I'd eventually love to read all of them. But I've got so many other books to read. I'm reading James S. A. Corey's The Expanse series right now. It's excellent sci-fi and I'm really enjoying it.
