That's funny. Whenever I'm driving anywhere with my family and we see one of those, we all start chanting, "End road work! End road work!"
I prefer the end of work than the end of the road. :)
Not all work is pointless drudgery - some people actually get paid to do work that they enjoy or it at least results in a sense of accomplishment.
