That's true. I'm starting to think that it would be great to have the self-vote status indicated somehow (either beside the rep score, or when you click an account and get the small info panel).
I don't have a strong view about it myself, but considering how many in the community do, it would seem good to make it as transparent as possible. I somehow doubt that change would have much support on github though.
Oops, it was only 7.5%. I edited it.
Well, let's start with adding voting power to the UI, it's unbelievable that it's still not there after a year.
I agree, it is hard to believe that the UI hasn't had more attention!
Here's my experimental votes list anyway, it's not far off what I'd already done with the @steemreports votes tool, so it's not much extra work.
It shows the proportion going to each person voted for over the last 14 days (updated every 5 mins). Doesn't show the actually payout contribution, not sure how you calculated that?

Look for Self in the list... I'll release it properly in the next couple of days.
Interesting, so the 3rd column is self-voting %?
The calculation for SBD included calculating the author reward for every vote based on the reversed-auction in the first 30 minutes. It's somewhat complicated.
I'm actually working on it right now, so things will be changing a bit I'm afraid, but it's the column called percentage.
I've just run into the issue of how to treat flags! They're actually saving the community rshares, so should that mean their self-vote percentage is adjusted... bit confused just for the moment!
You just need to filter the flags, then you only have the upvotes and can calculate self-vote ratio or percentage.
I guess I probably will. I was doing that, but then doubted myself since a certain steemit founder seemed to have a surprisingly high self-vote percentage. But haven't really assessed in terms of STEEM/SBD yet as I mentioned.
You can run names by me so i can verify in my database, either here or privately. You can contact me on Discord on several SteemIt related servers or steemit.chat.
Sorry, I've just realised what I think you meant. This is the list for @andybets, it shows the sum of the rshares cast to each person in the list, with the 'self' row being the relevent one (as far as direct self-voting is concerned. You can change the URl to change the account.
I don't see a self row (although you mean column i guess) :)
No. 'Self' is one of the values in the 'Account' column:
http://www.steemreports.com/votes-info-experimental/@calamus056
Each row shows the percentage of your total votes sent to the account in that row.
So you mean the number in the very first column? What is that number exactly?
