I'm keeping an eye on the numbers of minnows and dolphins. We've gained a few minnows over the last few weeks and the #tenkminnows project can take some credit for that. I'd love to see us reach 10,000 this year. Meanwhile Steemit and others are creating thousands of new accounts each week, but how many of those actually do much? We need the community to support the 'small fish' if we want them to stick around and grow. Some of us can afford to get less rewards for now. Without real growth Steem will stagnate and become even less attractive.
