As for the service „Hive Discover”, we saved all posts by the last 100 days and all his votes. By so, I tried to find Benford’s Law on different numbers like username-length and ids. But after some testing, I only found it by the count of post-votes. I could extract, that the number of votes often starts with the 1-digit. The chance that the amount starts with a 2 is dramatically smaller. The counts of vote-amounts with one specific starting-digit are logged inside this chart.
As you can see, it is nearly equal to the ideal distribution of Benford. If you want to know more about this phenomenon, read this article by @rafalski
I think this is one of many advice for how much humanity is in HIVE. A computer, which create random values, could never achieve this behavior and by so we can be sure that HIVE is not controlled by robots; instead by natural human beings like you and me!
