I'm very curious how the newly minted steem millionaires became whales in the steem ocean. By comparing the whale list to the top posts list I can see that it wasn't through blogging, replying and curating. I can understand that the creators have been duly rewarded but what about @firstclass who has never posted or replied. I would speculate some were early miners while others were initial speculators who fed on low priced steem plankton. Interviews with these whales would make interesting reading. I am participating and enjoying my experience in the steem ocean.
