A way to influence others!

You may wonder who the person is that has the biggest influence in the world and is still changing it as we speak. Let me tell you a story.

Late one night there was a carpenter and his wife looking for a place to stay. They were exhausted of the long journey that they just had. His wife were pregnant. They couldn't find a guesthouse to stay in for the night, they found a small stable to rest for the night. That night she gave birth to a beautiful young boy.  He grew up as normal young boy, yet nobody new that he will change lives for ever. This boy's name was Jesus.

I know we all had the stories of our childhood that we grew up with but there is a reason why I want to share that He is the most Influenced person in the world.

In the early years the people had the law that they had to live by.  But when Jesus was born he came to teach us a few things:

He is Faithfull -  when his friends was in a boat hopeless and scared He calmed the storm. He never leaf us even in the mist of our trouble. This teaches me to stand by my friends to encourage them that they are not alone.

He is prayerfull - Prayer is a conversation that Jesus had with His Father. He showed us that we can have a conversation with the Father like we have a conversation with a close friend. He prayed even when He was troubled and also prayed for his friends. He asked advice from His Father. The same with us, he taught us to speak and ask for help when ever we need it. Sometimes we hide our feelings for others instead of praying and having a conversation with the Father on how to handle a situation. He teaches us to teach our children to trust us and Him by having conversations about anything.

He is Humble - Jesus came to show us how to be humble. He never did things to get the fame for Himself instead He did it out of love for others. How many times do we do something for our own benefit, we teach our children that its about me and not to make our world a better place. By being humble you touch others lives and you make a difference. It helps you to see challenges through different glasses and not how it's going to effect you.

He is Obedient - He trusted His Father more than anything. He teaches us to trust in Him, what good is it to stress about something that you can't change. Through His obedience to the Father,he had saved us. For us to teach our children to be obedient helps them to know they will be save and that they are protected.  By being obedient protects us from worst choices that we could have made.

He is Patient - He is patient in everything. With His disciples he never pushed them in a direction to make a decision unless they were comfortable with it.  He had a journey of three years with them and was always patient. He teaches us to be patient with people, with our kids. How many times are we in a hurry and get frustrated with them...we need to be more patient.

Giving - He was always giving people time and helping them to understand the bigger picture. Others needs were more important than His own. What do we give? Our time is limited and we want to receive instead of give. When last did you give? When last did you give time to your child or fill their need?

Forgiving - He is forgiving. He forgave us all that we have done wrong. He forgave our past and the present. Are we quick to forgive someone who does something wrong to us? Are we forgiving our children when they brake our favorite glass? He teaches us to forgive no matter how big or small. His love for us is greater than anything. He shows us that our love for our children can be more than a broken glass, a glass you can replace but can you replace your child?

So if you ask me who made a influence in the world years ago so that it lead up to where we are today: I would say Jesus Christ. He made me want to be a better person, a better parent who teaches my children that we can change the world for the greater good.
