DuoDraw Art Contest February - Eros

Shout to @hanbun for organized DuoDraw contest, we are given a choice of two topics to choose from to illustrate. Eros and Agape. For this entry I choose Eros. Frankly i a bit confuse what to draw.. after couple hour i decide to use a graffiti theme.

Let me tell u about Eros, he was the Greek god of sexual attraction. The famous name was Cupid. Some myths make him a primordial god, while in other myths, he is the son of Aphrodite. He was one of the winged love gods, Erotes.

Step- by - step

Step 1

An idea to show the love in my artwork 1st i must choose a word that everybody can understand , I choose the word " Love " because a simple 4 letter that everybody can understand it . Roughly sketch the type of font .

Step 2

Now i put a volume to the font make it more bigger and clear.

Step 3

Now i add the thickness to the font more 3d font. If u can see an arrow pointed to some direction, that way you don't confuse where to put the font thickness.

Step 4

Here i put a cupid signature symbol.. Yup an arrow that tied these word together..

Step 5

So here i put all the element of love. Love is involuntary. It's a drive like thirst. It's a craving for a specific person. Natural to "lose control" in the early stage of romance. It make you do strange things, But knowledge is power. It's a natural addiction and treating it like an addiction can help you.
