In this posting I would like to share how our work is done on the part of creation of production and concept art based on a specific location. We will have to get the exact information to ensure that the production works for animation will go smoothly. This will give the accurate picture and lets see the entire process flow.
Flat view camera angle. This is to get the information between the size of the character and the background based on the main location for this view to help set the guide and information to the animator and background artist. In this process that I share with you guys will show how the work to complete the layout is done.
3rd view camera angle. This is to get the view from the top to get the entire picture of the whole location.
After getting information from the pre production artist we now move to the process to create the concept art at the location. From the sketch idea the art director and I will snap using camera phone and includinto the photoshop and create a layout from the idea.
Now we can include the colours in the rough to get the right match for the surroundings. In this process we plan the colours and lightings that is suitable.
Now we move to the main area that is the assembly point. This is after getting the right temperature for the entire location we will start with the building of flat colours and by using sytlised texture and lasso tools will we do coorping on the part of the rock.
I shall inlcude the soft texture on each part of the rock so that I can see more details and that will differentiate between the earth and the grass.
Now I will tidy the part of the background. In the tress I will include aqua blue between the leaves to differentiate between the distant and near trees. I will include some soft brush on the areas that we will incorporate the ray of light.
We will start to include detail bit by bit to the entire area from the soft ray of light now we include some hard light on this area. After getting hint of ray of light we can form a strong shadow on the part that is shaded by the light. I will include the saiz of the main character based on the earlier production art and I start with the flat colour.
I will use the detailing process on each part. The main character, I will now incorporate the shadow and lighting. We have now the perfect painting for the concept art.
This is the second option of concept art to be chosen by the art director. Till we meet again.

Hey, I'm sort of curious about the steem-cartoon tag. A cartoon tag seems to already exist (though the quality of content under isn't great), and my gut reaction was that things under steem-cartoon would be cartoons about steem, but that doesn't appear to be the case. So just wondering if it has any special significance.
Steem-cartoon was started because we want an identity of our own and cartoon has a wider definition. But when other artists besides cartoonist ask us if they can use our tags we didn't object to their request. We call it steem-cartoon because our work is part of the steem blockchain but not because it is cartoon about steem.
