Hi steemians! Here is a little throwback to my first experience in the digital drawing in the portraiture :)

Assalamualaikum and good night, morning, afternoon or evening, depending on when you are reading this post!

1st February already! And this time I want to talk about my first digital portrait. I've mentioned in my previous post that I really love to learn and experience new things. So, I decided to challenge myself to draw a digital portrait which I never did before.

The idea came when I saw a picture of my friend who had a weird face expression and I thought I had to draw him. Honestly I was so excited but I had no clue what to do at first, where should I start, how to shade, and how the process looks. Everything was really new, haha.

So here are the progress pictures and a video of the process.

So, the final look is (not perfect, but finished) ;

After that I thought I should make some exercises using the same medium and I did it. Actually I wasn't happy with it but at the end of the process, I realized that it was fun and encouraging experience as well then I got hooked, I am so hooked, I could be hooked more! lol.

And here is the second portrait (I'm not sure it should be called as a portrait or not but it's okay, I'm in the learning zone *smiling)

Luckily, this experience was void of disappointments. So that's sweet! I believe that the more I practice, the better I will get. My last words is if you want to try something new, just do it. Make your own rules, push away all the negativity, it will be fun.
