Our Inspiration
Each and everyone of you that are following us or reading anyone of our blogs, we take the time to individually thank you and for those that we had overlooked, it was not done on purpose. We won't be where we are today, although we are not that far away from where we started but everyone that lend their vote and support counts. You do not have to be a whale to capture our attention, your time spent reading and laughing with us is more than enough to make our day, remember artists like to be appreciated, money is secondary (I know many of them is gonna have a private talk with me after this).
@asianetwork in her comment told us how proud she would be if a picture of her is being drawn, well I gave my word and I personally caught hold of one of our best talent the lovable @elliebong and within 1 day she came up with her masterpiece

Now, looks like you can go around telling your family and friends that you had direct engagement with our community. We love each and everyone of you and please don't stop supporting us. Even if you are smaller than a minnow, we want you!
My Family
I found a family in this #steem-cartoon. I can't speak for the new entries into the community but the batch that I have worked with are excellent people. I spoke to @elliebong on producing an artpiece for a fellow commentator and immediately the work has been presented to me on the same day. The fact that we know each other in real life do help a lot.
I believe that the message that we wish to convey is simple, you guys have made us what we are today and we will not forget each and everyone of you that helped us along the way. We will continue to engage with you whether you are an artist, commentator, critique or merely a fan.
Steem Music
I think by now many would have realised that there is a group of young spirited musicians that will be painting our lives with colours and rhythm. They make each and every beat count and they live to their tag 'We leave no note behind'. @calebleejl have approached me and ask if I can help support his dream. His dream is pretty much like what @sireh and myself had when we spoke of #steem-cartoon and immediately I felt it was a good idea and this tag was hatched....#steem-music.
Just like how our community could not have grown if other communities have not pitch in their effort and resources, so likewise we want to do the same. Here we have an footer by our lovely @ayza that was customized for #steem-music's needs.

Not only has the portrait come out as an exact replica of @asianetwork, but you have even managed to make a mirror image of the dog! This is real perfection, something that makes an artist stand out from the others.
You have also raised the awareness of steem-cartoon, something that I had heard of but had forgotten about. In future I will check out all your posts and remember to browse through steem-cartoons as well.

I have been fan of steem-cartoon right from the beginning... such a talented bunch of artists showcasing to the rest of the world their skills and passion for everyone to see.
I have seen some pictures of various members of steem-cartoon, just wondering if we will see a cartoon version of the team in a post sometime soon as a collaborative project?
Thats a wonderful suggestion...that would mean many caricatures...can be quite a bit of work...let me see what they think of it.
It's true, but I think being a community it would be nice to see collaborations and also the individual styles coming together in a single project. Just a thought but if it happens that would be very nice :)

you can have everyone's cartoon of themselves together with their steemit username, something like highschool year book, it would be so cool! The Wall of Steem Cartooners. It could be different kinds of cartoon together that reflect different kinds of cartoon style. =D
