VICTORS FOR LIFE THROUGH CHRIST

When you hear the word victors, what comes to the mind of the believer?

Let us get some perspective from the scriptures.

My brethren, count it all joy when ye fall into divers temptations (James 1:2).

In this journey as you grow in your Christian walk with God and the spirit, you’ll definitely have your moments of fight of faith; it’s a must or compulsory for everyone. The bible tells us that.

It is called in the Bible a good fight, it is a good fight because you are guaranteed to always win. Some people see the fight of faith in a different light; first they see challenges as insurmountable difficulties not necessary for the believer.

Every time something happens, an event that is not pleasant, they cry, feeling sorry for themselves and lamenting. If only such people knew and would understand how much the devil likes to see them cry/ fret and enjoys their frustration, they’ll never give him the luxury anymore.

You should realize that as a Christian, Christ lives in you, he dwells in you terbanacled in you by His spirit. That makes you a victor for life.

The Bible says by telling us, “...greater is he that’s in you, than he that’s in the world” (1 John 4:4). This is a present-hour reality every christian should have irrespective of the challenges or circumstances. Romans 8:35-37 says, “Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.”

You are unconquerable because of the one inside you. See challenges whennthey come as springboards to your next level of glory, because they will come for sure. 2 Corinthians 4:16-18 says, “For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory; while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.”

That situation, no matter how dire or frustrating it seems before you, is a light affliction. It did not come to kill you but to make you strong. That’s how the Word describes it and that’s how you ought to see and relate with it. Take you mind off it as being so great you cannot come out of it. Christ is our victory.

You should learn how to laugh your way through life most of the time! No matter what you’re going through, rejoice, be unperturbed because it’s a light affliction that’ll certainly produce for you, a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory. Just for you.

It is your heritage to be triumphant always, victorious in all circumstanced and in every situation.

It is up to you to make your true nature in Christ count. Give no room for the devil to gloat over you because Christ has given us the victory to trample upon snakes and scorpion and over all even the devil.

Remember the victory that overcomes the world is our faith.
