I don't have a clear insight because I'm not a parent yet, but being a male showed me that it had some perks in some aspects of life. Females grow up so much faster than males and they assume roles within their families and social groups, they develop empathy, care and are able to handle complex situations in a much mature way than males. Males are much more competitive, like in nature, it's about dominance and survival from a young age. Males have to assume the role of gatherers and must learn to protect his family and loved ones. But in my opinion, I'm against it, there are no better genders, it is quite stupid to think about it. From a parenting point of view i've come across friends who tell me the same thing: It's hard to be a parent. But at the same time they say to me that it is the most wonderful thing ever, so it's quite confusing for me. There are no better childs, but there are good and bad parents.
