Anyway, both programs need to be abolished along with that which funds them. Taxation is theft and government isn't a worthy savior. :-)

absolutely not. Those programs saved my life.
Do you realize that having a baby in a hospital would have set me into debt around $30,000? Having medicaid when I was pregnant, (and mind you alone) was the reason I'm not in debt up to my eyeballs from hospital bills.
It doesn't change the fact that taxation is theft. It's good that your needs were met, but that doesn't justify the means by which they were met. Help is honorable when it's provided voluntarily.
