And now I've tried a third time, and I'm out of email addresses. Why am I not getting Steemit Chat confirmation emails? I cannot create an account 😤

That's really strange. The only thing I could think of would be to check in your emails spam folders. Outside of that I'd say try to contact @followbtcnews in a comment (they just took over the chat.)

Though, if it continues to be a problem, you might just try out some of the various community groups on discord. I did a guide a while back to get people started on there Here.
