Yeah... Baffling. No offense to the OP, she was a good looking woman, smart enough to put on a Steem shirt and do her thing, but... It makes me question if this site will be distinct enough from Reddit etc. She hauls in bank, meme generated, takeoffs and satires ride its coattails to prosperity.
As a romance writer I've seen the road to success depend on studying the market and either giving it more of the same for big bucks, or going your own way into a niche market. Pringles vs. Kettle Chips, basically, most people want the exact same chip over and over. So you end up with a site full of content that's repetitive and imitative until the meme is exhausted. Writers will study the most popular posts and deliver more of the same.
