I was doing some design maintenance on my YouTube channel and I discovered that I can add the Steemit.com link to my homepage. I wasn't expecting the icon to auto-load, but it did!
I then rearranged my logo display order to have Steemit be the first link that people see.
If you have a YouTube channel, you may want to do this also.

I tried it on mine, and was able to Add a link, then Save the page, but it didn't appear in the Link Area for me. Maybe I'll try again tomorrow because this is a good thing to have! https://www.youtube.com/user/KennyWrites is where I tried to add it.

Thanks for checking my YouTube channel. :) I was able to add a link to my YouTubeStars blog but not to my page here. Hmm unless the YouTubeStars link goes to here! I'll check tomorrow and see if I can get a nice link like @stellabelle was able to create.
Maybe you need some time before your page is indexed?
