It has been an eventful Sunday! Met up with different people to expand #steem-music's reach and I would say it has been very well spent.
Credits to @djlethalskillzHaving heard of what @djlethalskillz has been doing and all his initiatives, it was amazing to finally meet him for the very first time! To hear him share about steemit, music and life in general was golden. We're really excited about our discussions on how we can collaborate and help each other's initiative. I'm glad that we share this philosophy that we're all placed on this planet earth to help each other and grow strong together! :)
After that, I proceeded to have a rehearsal with @vincentchin for an upcoming event. Let's just say choosing a shopping mall on a Sunday afternoon for rehearsal is a bad choice. One Utama happens to be one of the largest shopping malls in the world and it took me half an hour just to find a parking spot and then locate Yamaha! So sorry I've got nothing to show for except our dinner, KFC's newest flavor - Golden Egg Crunch. Yes in this part of the world we're suckers for salted-egg-everything. From crabs to chicken, potato chips to fish skin, anything you apply salted egg to it, it can sell! :p
I then met up with a bunch of people to share about Steemit. It's just great to see people taking an interest about this platform. I never get bored from seeing the reaction of people wondering how on earth can one earn money from blogging. Excited for them to hop onboard soon!
After spreading the steemit 'gospel', I then headed over to @edward-ong's place to share steemit with his mom! We spent a good 1-hour introducing cryptocurrency and fast-tracking it all the way to how her son can withdraw fiat money. After recording a few covers and sharing with him some of my #steem-music plans it was finally time to call it a day.
Credits to @edward-ongI can totally imagine doing this for a living! To do something that you love, while helping others, and also earning a sustainable income, is like a dream come true. Can't wait for the day where all of us can live this dream together! :)
