There was no gameweek 24 review due to different reason but now I’m back with a short overview text on the midweek gameweek. Gameweek 24 was a gameweek where 4 of the big six teams lost important points. League leaders Liverpool were held back home against Leicester in 1-1 draw. That meant they couldn’t fully take advantage of Manchester City’s defeat against Newcastle the night before. However they extended their League lead to five points. Manchester United’s 100% win record under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer came to an end on Tuesday evening but the result could have been much worse for the Red Devils, who came back from 2-0 down to rescue a late point against Burnley. Paul Pogba (8.7m) owned by over 41 % registered his 11th FPL goal involvement in seven Gameweeks. Now it looks like he’s an injury doubt for Man Utd’s trip to Leicester in gw 25.
Higuaín had an mediocre Premier League debut when Chelsea put in an embarrassing display away at Bournemouth. Bournemouth won 4-0 and everything isn’t okay in the Chelsea camp at the moment. Their top four contenders, Spurs and Arsenal both managed to take three points from their matches by winning 2-1 against Cardiff and Watford respectively. Fulham were 2-0 down in their match against Brighton but they managed to fight back to win 4-2 thanks to two goals from Mitrovic and two assists from Ryan Babel. Fulham’s new signing, Ryan Babel costs only 5.5m (midfielder) and has really hit the ground running since joining Fulham. He impressed in his debut in gameweek 23 and followed that up with a good performance again.

The average score in gameweek 24 was only 42 points and several top teams In Steem Fantasy League even scored under that. Team “Metalheadz” continues in the lead even if it wasn’t the greatest of gameweeks for Metalheadz either. Team “squadFi” in place 150 had the highest score in our league with 78 points. A strong front three with Aubameyang (24p, C), Aguero (9p) and Mitrovic (13 points) combined with Maguire (8p) and Steve Cook (6p) was the recipe.
