how about they change the name steem alliance to steem foundation?
would be cool to have a steem foundation non profit kidn alike bitcoin has, right? or doe sit??
I hope people dont get this confused with the Legit Steem DAO from @blocktrades
I feel like the steemalliance peopel who tried to fork @ned out of his own stake should try doing that on their own fork, and not expect everyone to alter the main fork like that... I mean ned has the final say on his chain anyway if he owns the biggest stake and has the largest vote, so the only way they could remove neds stake is on a secondary steem fork like steem-minus ned fork nd that fork would NOT have all teh same funds and resources and it would fail... no one would care about it... peopel want to use STEEM not a bunch of forks from a bunch of people who all just wanna be Ned
Anyway this post seems a little overly fluffed, just vague stuff about an election
cant we see some actual posts with some new ideas? Some structures? Some Whitepapers? or how about we start using Dpoll? I mean dude, lets also stop pretending liek we actually have much of a "community" its just stake holders and users without stake... there is no long term community because there are no physical steem clubs in every major city like @ned should establish and yes ned has to do it because no oen else will, but ned could start after school programs in EVERY city and get Steem in SCHOOLS
SCHOOL boards are the ultimate gold mine for steem, the prfect Host organism for steem to latch onto. Schools and universities are the perfect place for steem, because students are already used to having to use special new systems to login to, like when they use their school email or class registration system. All school homework and exams should be done with steem accounts and a very simple front end for teachers and students each having their own custom backend for teachers and front end for students and options for school administrators, and even options for school board directors, we could have a whole tree opf hierarchies built into a forum system where curriculum can be issued and voted on , everything can be done the RIGHT way. And we can start SIMPLE by having a basic steem school front end that just lets you choose if you are a student, or teacher/administrator, and allows you to make posts to create Classes and announcements, homework deadlines, allowing students to submit the homework or links to a private dropbox like service if its not be made public,a nd for public homework that they dont midn publishing as papers we can have some teachers have theri students posting content as they learn, so we can have a hybrid educational and publishing system, students can get PAID for hoemwork
and by keeping it all simpel at first with just a steem front end for teachers and stuydents to submita nd grade hoemwork, maybe some optiosn for posting class tiems, paper deadlines and posting class cirriculums by school principle accounts, just a few featuresliek that at the launch could be enough with all teh rest of the features schools need, being added as we go, by the users, so we can end up with something VERY comprehensive that can end up being adopted by schools as a way for teachers to get their students PAID for doing homework, either by their own Steempower bought by teh teacher, delegated to or sent by teh school, which itself can buy or lease Steempower for a semester... and EVEN if the tecaher has NO steempower, they can still earn it with their students if they post enough anbd with quality homework articles etc, im sure teh first tecahersto use steem with or withouta special steem front end, woudl surley get a boost from teh community
Anyway ned could install steem after school centers in a school in every major city in the USA by starting withg just a few cities at first, Maybe Homeschooled children can be the first to start using steem and then private Schools. I knwo a school system in Australia started using Steem and had plans to have each class run a steem witness. So anyway the idea is RIPE for teh taking
Steem for schools could be the BIG break steem needs, teh oen that gets steemit inc a huge contract to use steem for class rooms or universities and its perfect for both. If MEOS on EOS will be used for Government ID system, maybe Steem can be used for education and we can BOTH have multi billion dollar government no bid contracts :D
I've been thinking something similar for a while. Where can I get information from that school in Australia?
