The whole cryptocurrency market has dropped considerably. I would see if you can find a chart for Steem/Bitcoin to see how it has done against the broader crypto market. In general, the alt-coins tend to follow the market swings at a higher amplitude. Sadly, in these periods there is not usually a consideration for true value of an offering (much like when the whole market explodes upwards) so everything tends to go down.
