THIS IS TOTALLY UNFAIR!

in #steem7 years ago (edited)

I write with a lot of anger, but I write more than anything to let the community know how unfair the rules are in Steemit, I joined this social network recently. And eventually everything was fine, until I discovered certain behavior of users with weight or whales as they call it here.

I made a post where he reported his monopoly and how they were affecting the community 3 days ago can check it here. Today when wanting to upload one of my posts as usual, I find that my reputation has dropped considerably and I have been removed almost 200% my bandwidth, that is, I can not post more than 43 kb of information what is absolutely nothing , when investigating Why? I find that I have 2 negative votes from very heavy users or whales, I immediately knew that it was because of my publication now I had to inject a quantity of Steem Power into my account so that I could increase the bandwidth again.

But is this just? I do not think so. And I do not say that because I am ami, I put myself in the place of other users and it is equally frustrating, I sincerely believe that steemit must put rules to the whales or this social network will not advance.

I hope and can receive your support so that this post reaches competent ears and can help the community in general.

Sort:

the reason why is because you spammed the network, you have 70 posts in less than 9 days? this isnt a money grab, its about quality content not quantity

heres mine and if you compare time to post ratio your almost 1/5 of what ive done in many months in 9 days!

hope that explains it.

Cheers

I do not think it's the case I check my Steemd on a daily basis and just ayuer I had 170 kb of bandwidth, and if you check my profile I only have about 20 post other things are just comments answers, thanks for your point of view.

Based on the current way the site is coded... I don't think this is something that can be easily fixed. Now, I've not been here for long, so there may be aspects I do not understand yet... However it appears that these users (whales) with mass influences are usually using their power to make sure bad post don't end up on steemit; Or to eliminate trending posts that exploited the voting systems. I know I have seen grumpycat downvote some in the past because users were buying votes.

What sort of content did you post that resulted in 2 flags?

I didn't personally find anything wrong with it... but if you targeted the whales, its possible they targeted you I suppose. I've yet to have a major encounter with a whale. However I am trying to produce decent content too so hopefully my first interaction is a positive one.

I would look at what @empiracoinllc posted above. He might be on to something there. I would try to post no more than 2 or 3 times a day... and I would also avoid posting similar comments on others blogs. There are a ton of automated systems on this network that can set off all sorts of red flags if you try to gain the system to make money. (just be careful, its a learning curve on this network)

Yes friend, as I said I am new. I will follow your advice as well as that of empiracoinllc, if it is true that it points to the whales but it does not seem unfair to you guys who only have more time than you play with the steemit reward distribution system and that nobody can do anything ?
