When your account was created the @steem account automatically delegated some power to you so that your bandwidth is sufficiently high to start to interact on Steemit.

That was the number in the bracelets:
(+28.0000 SP) Or similar.

@steem takes it back after a while but I'm not sure why so early, only after 17 days in your case. (maybe this is the rule? I would need to research it)

Low SP = low Bandwidth.

When you downvoted that spam a few minutes ago, because your bandwidth was so little, it went negative. (if you check steemd.com/@allabout, you will see that you are still in negative because of that. If you don't have Bandwidth, you can not interact with Steemit.

I have delegated 30 SP to you, now you have 45SP. It should be enough to keep blogging. But now you have to wait until your bandwidth recharges. It will take a while but after it reached ~50%, you are good to go, as before.

I must go to sleep now (I'm after work) but later, I will answer your questions.

First of all, i want say many thanks for Your delegation and good heart too ...! I will keep my bloging , but i really thought drop to do that here, after whats happened with my steem power in this morrning.. other account 2 days old here to @batraiselis . It start with 28SP or so, but after 2 days ''steem'' takes it and bring back only 15 SP ... I know its happening for massive accounts now., but there is a reason?... Otherwise by my thinking after a creating steemit account user realy has got -28 SP ! but Steemit giving a ''loan'' for users. Its smart step of creators but not so much :) by decreasing SP of small accouns potentially you loosing good beginners here (not only fake acc ). So, to have your own steem power, for most users is very hard work to do it. each of them must earn around 56 SP ..

What about Bandwidth Remaining : it not possible to know exactly how many it is becouse steemd.com dont shows correctly how many it is. By my experience what i seen, i just look and refresh a page: a bandwidth slider jumping ''up and down'' like kangaroo up to - 1500 to +10 and again to-300 and back to -90.. steemit has prrety nice steemnow.com, but here not bandwich scale..

Will by nice to understood more whats going here, on steemit , King Regards!

I'm sorry sir, I totally forgot about you:(
I'm busy with my stuff:)

I believe getting a good payment for post is a challenge for everyone, not only for minnows. Unfortunately steemit is not a get rich quick scheme. My best advice is that you don't expect anything, just enjoy writing. Even nobody cares, just keep going until you get somewhere. If it turns out that steemit is not for you, than at least you tried. But try it hard! And don't compare yourself to others. Develop your writing abilities, your language skills if you need. You will benefit out of that on way or another. Writing blog is the best way to practice english. (I'm doing it myself as I am from hungary and learning english only since 6 years, steemit is a great oportunity to have some practice in writing)

The Steem Power bar should work properly on steemd, I haven't noticed anything wrong with it. It can be many reasons why it swings like crazy as users bandwidth depends on:

  • the traffic on the blockchain at time of your transaction
  • total traffic in the past few days
  • your SP
  • the TOTAL SP on the steem ecosystem.

So, if you have low SP and do something at busy times, it can go negative.

I wrote an articke about it a few weeks ago, you can check it out: The Big bandwidth conspiracy. I can not explain bandwidth any better:)

Don't vote on posts older than 7 days! It has no value at all. Just using your bandwidth and voting power.

About the delegation:
I have not found any useful info on rules how does this newcomer's delegation works. So I can not say anything on that, sorry. I'll keep my eyes open as I am also interested in this topic. Let you know if there is any news.

About my delegation:
You can keep it as long as you need it. Only one condition: Do good!:)
No need to thank, I was happy to help you. But as soon as you have 30SP on your own, I will take it back. (at that point it will hurt your feelings but, i'm saying sorry in advance:))

I have the same problem it growing too quickly the community

same here, SP has halved! not really sure why, but we should refer to whitepaper maybe.

The Steem Power in perentheses is delegated Steem Power, and the amount above is your Steem Power.

The sum of both amounts determines the worth of your votes and the amunt of bandwidth you can use by visiting Steemit. However, delegated Steem Power does not belong to you, it is a loan. All new users get some Steem Power delegated but it is temporary.

You can rent delegated Steem Power from other users, for example minnowbooster
