I would like to make a confession. Bless me father. I have been using Whaleshares for these last few months and it is mainly due to the Bidbots and the lack of organic engagement on steem,
Whaleshares has no bidbots and so far the community has been more engaged than what I have experienced here. It does pain me to highlight this fact but there is a direct correlation between bidbots and community.
Whaleshares is still a relatively new Blockchain social media but I can see it has a bright future due to the content creators and developers that it has attracted already from Steem. The proof of brain drain that Steem is experiencing will really need to be stopped if is ever to succeed. Vote buying is not very social on a social media.
I am still a firm believer that Steem can turn around and that's why I am still here posting away but I think content needs to be king. not just people looking at financial ROI but as a ROI for content creators.

I see a problem with whaleshares...
The vote selling is inherent to fuzzy's model... It is just done differently... using tokens...
I went i saw i tried and confirmed... I do post there from time to time when i want to address my former steem community.
Yeah tokens are given away for free for community building and engagment, but at the end of the day you are not getting rewarded because of your content but because of the time spent in a discord server.
