100 years from now, our grandkids will be soooo glad that we took the time to get some while the getting was good, imo.
You might be right about that, but as of now, we don't know what Cryptos are going to survive for our heirs to benefit from. A reason to grab a little stake in all of the coins/tokens I guess; but, that can get pretty expensive and the loss may outweigh the gains over time :>(
Keep your paper copy of your master key safe.
That's ONE way of trying to protect your holdings, but not as good as getting your keys 'off' the exchanges into a paper wallet...Whoever HOLDS the key, OWNS it.
Wasn't OpenLedger the latest example of locking-up/loosing/stealing or never having the coin in the first place? Or was that just a rumor?
Yep, not your keys, not your coins.
Diversification is a good idea.
I'm holding 4, right now.
Btc, bch, ltc, and steem.
Hopefully, one or all of them moons.
I'm with all of the above except for 'bch' :>) which I may dabble in soon. Not sure.
I got lucky with mine, it tripled and I took out half.
I'm down a little on what I put in, but six ounces of what I took out are in the change jar.
I'm up a few bucks on them, too.
Oh...well "six ounces" is almost a half pound, so that's a lot of bowls to flick your BIC at...
These are troy ounces.
That other stuff should be losing value pretty quickly.
4000 growers for 250,000 licenses and stuff will be sitting on the shelf for a while before long, iyam.
Without interstate commerce, it has no where to go.
