I'd like to thank all the people who have used ANONSTEEM over the past few days.
ORIGINAL POST: https://steemit.com/steemit/@someguy123/anonsteem-create-anonymous-steem-accounts-without-social-media
ANONSTEEM hasn't changed much over the past few days, but we have increased the price from 0.01 to 0.015 BTC to deal with the recent cost increase for STEEM accounts (it's gone from 3 STEEM to 7 STEEM, and may hit 10 soon).
We've also solved problems relating to usernames that were too short/long.
Current total: 27 accounts created over the past 5 days. You can see all accounts created over at: https://steemd.com/@anonsteem
More projects COMING SOON™ under the AnonSteem network, designed to help people use STEEM/Steemit safely, and privately. Stay tuned for more! Don't forget to checkout the creator of AnonSteem too, @someguy123

https://steemit.com/steemit/@l0k1/getting-the-benefit-of-tor-for-all-blockchains-without-the-problems-of-tor
Blockchains are already anonymised on the inbound side. If there was a way to propagate transactions without revealing the source IP, it would be pretty much as good as Tor by itself. I am campaigning to get this feature added to Steem, but it is applicable to not just all blockchains, but also messaging systems like Bitmessage, and Bitmessage could be scaled down to create a Transient Blockchain based instant messaging system. Yes, I invented that term. Transient Blockchain. It is the name for a blockchain where the data expires.
