I think the eventually answer is the community should start flagging other services that do not show the same care.
Most of them don't because the retaliation is freaking annoying, and it dramatically lowers revenue, spammers are good customers.
Yeah, I think if we can build public sentiment against the bot owners complicit with abuse, we can address it via the crowdfunded incentivized flag approach.
Think it is feasible but support from large stakeholders would be crucial.
