Blockchain assets like our Steem and Steem dollars can soon be used much like what we are doing with fiat currency. TenX has just increased liquidity of these assets by introducing debit cards you can use anywhere in the world.
TenX ( website here ) is a Singapore based company that graduated from Paypal's incubator. According to their CEO and co-founder Tobias Hoenisch, "Our vision for the world is becoming reality: making any cryptocurrency as usable as a dollar bill in your pocket."
In the news featured in Coin Telegraph it discusses the feature that will not only benefit users of almost zero transaction fees but also the capability of it being used as a cryptocurrency wallet
It could be major industry changer as these Blockchain assets can now be used in over 36 million point of sales of acceptance both online and offline. Accessed by users through their smartphone or the physical debit card. Now up to this time this is the major challenge for most of the ordinary cryptocurrency users.
In the past months it has successfully integrated Bitcoin, Etherium, Dash and ERC 20. More to come in the near future and our beloved Steem/Steem Dollars in this community can be one of them. You can even watch how it was actually spent in a McDonald restaturant in a YouTube video below:
In real life application, all users can just download the free TenX app on their mobile phone. Then create wallets for the tokens and start to order a virtual or physical card and start spending, it is just as easy as that.
TenX is set to have an ICO this coming June 24 and for more information on their white paper and other pertinent information on this upcoming event just visit their website here
I am refreshed everyday by listening to powerful messages or hearing inspiring music. Here is one of what I watched and listened today. Be inspired, be empowered, enjoy!

I currently use wirex and have a virtual card and a real plastic one to use in euros here in Portugal.
We are watching the future unravel.
Yes, a lot of virtual debit cards are already in the market. I am using two at the moment one from coins.ph and the other Paymaya. I use it to pay my subscription for my online tools and advertisement. But this one with TenX has some special kick to it since you will use your Blockchain assets like Bitcoin, Etherium, etc...(soon I believe steem) directly without the need to exchange it to fiat currency first. This is huge since we cut exchange fees and of course this process is more convenient...
Thanks for sharing. As a new crypto investor/user, I worry about liquidity of these assets. Sounds like there are very smart people working on the problem.
Exactly @eightyyroldself this is one avenue in the cryptocurrency world that needs to be implemented as it gears itself for mass adoption. What TenX has just done is to usher to this need. That is why I think this company/token has a lot of potential for growth
