I think honestly, people just love to worry.
As you said, some people are legitimately stressed about where their next meal comes from... and since I don't have that concern, and never have, it's almost crazy that I would be stressed at all... but we do, as each problem is solved, we look for new things to worry about... 'I have food now but will I next year', 'will I have enough food when I retire', etc etc... until eventually gets to the point of 'are these the right socks?'...
The problem is that stress and worry cause health issues... so I agree... we should all embrace all the next technology that will make our lives amazing and immerse ourselves in a.) How we can make our lives amazing b.) What makes us happiest...
We all need to work hard to train ourselves into loving how amazing our lives are and how amazingly spectacular they will be.
Same here. We aren't necessarily born with it I don't believe. It comes to us as we watch people and get caught up in the moment, or the drama. Nature v. nurture perhaps at some society level?
I think it comes from being reared in the bankster controlled world where fear is the basic emotion due to scarcity being driven into us at every turn.
We are taught there isnt enough, we arent enough, and we need more.
The hole people have within them is not filled with stuff yet that is exactly what people try to do. Over time, it becomes an endless pit.
Today, is there anyone worried about not having enough information? Of course not, the Internet gave us more than we can read in 10,000 lifetimes.
It will do the same with money.
I was thinking about this last night.... we're trying to save money for a holiday in 2 weeks and a truck in April... but after a hard training session, and while I was driving home I was thinking about food I could buy. .. I wasn't that hungry, and I had food at home, I was just excited about buying something new. That hit of dopamine that new things give us and that voice that we need more is super damaging to us all. We're already in the age of abundance compared to people 100 years ago and possibly 100 years in the future.... but we're just not conditioned to recognise it.
Here's to us already having so much! It's amazing!
Great thought-provoking post once again TM.
That is true.
Actually we dont even need to go back 100 years.
I just posted a comment...30 years ago the only information people had in their homes was the nightly news, the newspaper, and perhaps some books. The only communication was the phone, writing a letter, or screaming out the window.
Now we have more information than we can read in 10K lifetimes and we can communicate with each other in unlimited ways.
I believe money is going to experience the same thing. In fact, we are already seeing it. Bloggers and Vloggers who made nothing after years on Wordpress, Blogger, and Youtube are making money on here their first month. In fact, one can say everyone can make money their first day. One upvote to another carries a reward...might only be .001 but it is something.
