BTW, the justification for the change is to encourage stake concentration and it clearly is one among a number of reasons for the proposal and so the fact that it makes things more visible is only a bonus. If you cannot see that it encourages Stake concentration Vs Stake splitting then you probably will never see that in turn it makes it impossible to calculate the exact amount of money each person should receive based on their delegations to bidbots, where as in purely linear it's trivial, under any curve it becomes a matter of who delegated how much and in what order.
