Doing what they want is out of context, because it was done to empower the less influential actors to have more say over reward distribution. I don't think it's right equating them to the 1% in life, regardless of what you did because of it. Also there was notice, just not what you agree on as proper or full notice. Also the best practices? They canceled the votes from whales who didn't want to participate, and not any more.
