indeed. I'm trying to work out why right now. I think i've followed the markdown format. Is dropbox a suitable place to link to images does anyone know?
I can only apologize. I've read everything I can and tried everything i can think of and I can't get the images to embed. At least the links are up.
I don't think Dropbox lets you hotlink files. Imgur doesn't allow it anymore for Steem
From my experience imgsafe.org works well. Flickr should too if you find the direct link to the image.

The only issue with flickr is you can't use animated gifs there.
use imgsafe.org or ipfs.pics
