Intro
I wanna start by saying that I would not consider myself a professional trader or investor. I’ve made a decent amount of money on cryptos by swingtrading and holding btc etc. I also work part time with other things so I don’t wanna call myself a trader until I live solely on trading profits. With that said, I do have a passion to trade and read charts along with finding new projects with good fundamentals. I’ve been a believer in cryptos for the past 3 years and think that this journey really just has started.
I believe in Steemit as a platform and already love the community even though I’ve only been here for a short period of time. I wanna help Steemit grow and therefore try to drive as much traffic as I can from my Twitter account to the platform. Content creators on Steemit have helped me tremendously to get better as a trader and investor and I wanna share what I’ve learned and at the same time start discussions to improve myself and others.
I will be 100% transparent with the trades I make so if you like my predictions, you can simply follow my trades totally for free!
I also want to contribute more to the world by giving away money, knowledge and spread positive energy. This fund fullfills these subjects and I’m open for suggestions on how we can approve this idea.
Purpose:
✅ Share profits with my fans.
✅ Contribute to the world with charity.
✅ Invite people to the Steemit platform.
✅ Provide free trading education and improve myself by creating discussions.
Rules & Guidelines
- I put in $1000 and try to make major profits.
- After 3 months, all profits will be distributed to my fans and to charity. (This time period can change)
- Funds will be shared 50% to my fans, 50% to charity.
- Trades will be transparent and can be watched live on my steemit blog, twitter and cryptocompare public portfolio.
- Participate simply by upvoting my posts on steemit.
- The top 5 upvoters after 3 months will be entitled to a share from the profits.
- An upvote on steemit is 100% free but weighted votes will be counted higher.
- Sign up for the trading fund newsletter with leader boards etc.
Example:
- The fund grows to $100 000.
- $50 000 to fans and $50 000 to charity.
- $50 000 divided by top 5 upvoters equals $10 000 each.
Reflections
I’m trying to find ways to calculate the votes and vote weight. The only solution I see is to check steemstats.com every week. Do you have any other suggestions that would make this process easier?
Due to tax reasons, I will put aside 30% from all profitable trades.
I will use blockfolio mobile app to show the current balance of the fund. Would be awesome to find a better solution where I can share my trades as well. I tried Cryptocompare but does not seem to work properly. If you have any other recommendations please let me know :)

Huge fan of this idea so first off - thanks for running this @
benkalashnikov! Overall I think it's structured quite well. One thought I had though is whether you'd consider randomly picking a "minnow" to share in the profits of the fans too? You could set a rule that they need to upvote or comment on at least 75% of posts, etc., but that way it encourages minnow involvement too (and will help these series of posts continue to trend up), as opposed to automatically benefiting the dolphins/whales.

Very good idea. Maybe what you could do is have a charity day where fellow Steemit members donate some Steem Dollars etc. Just a thought.
Another way is whoever benefits from your trades donates a percentage. I know people aren't totally honest but any extra money is for charity. I know in my country it is tax deductible whatever is given to charity.

Amazing goals you have there @benkalashnikov. At first, I was reading and it touched my heart because of how you set up to help those less fortunate than yourself. Than i read you will distribute the money amongst your followers which made my jaw drop. I've never seen anybody do this. If I understood correctly, you will post every trade you make with the stop losses and entries etc, so i can for instance follow you and do the same? And do you really think its possible to make cc 100.000$ in 3 months from a 1000$? Because if that is true i will commit to doing the same. I would follow your moves, be transparent with it and in the end I would give half to charities. The problem is right now i do not have any money beside covering my living expenses, but i think i could probably borrow maybe 500$ from friends. Anyways hit me up and talk with me, i love this jouerny you want to embark on and i want to join you. I also have a single mom relative that lives in another country in a bad financial and health situation and with my profits (that would stay after i would give half to charity) i would help her. My ultimate goal would be to learn these techniques for myself, to see how it works and in the process help others and distribute this wealth that crypto seems to offer us. Can't imagine a better thing to do. Im really excited to hear your feedback.
Hi Johnny, thank you!! Glad you apreciate this idea and I hope I can inspire many others to do the same. The example with $100,000 is just to get a better understanding on how the splits would work. I doubt that I would be able to make that kind of profits with just $1,000 in a bear market. But nothing is impossible and things could change :) I would not advise you to borrow any money to trade. Only invest money that you can afford to lose. I hope I can bring value by showing my thought processes and analyses and help you and many others to become better traders. I'm sorry to hear about your mom and I hope she'll get better soon!
