I was going through the activity of grumpycat and noticed that he has downvoted numerous spam posts and even one of haejin. I am not sure what this guy is doing. He has upvoted all of those placeholder comments, but I don't know why.

Everyone is going to care when the whole platform collapses. It's clearly too easy to do this. The only thing keeping all whales from doing it is honesty. We've been lucky that there are so many whales with foresight, but if this becomes more common, influence on Steemit is so concentrated it could destroy this whole thing.
yeah that is crappy I agree, some douche got ~ 15k + usd by gaming the broken system :D well that's what you get when you sell votes and delegate to pretty much everyone, loan sharks I suppose don't care where the money goes as long as they get more of it.
this was always a problem by the way, steem was far more reliable when it was run properly, :D I don't think that has happened yet tho, so I suppose we can do better.
