At a $320,000,000 total market cap, Steem takes number 3 spot only behind Bitcoin and Ethereum. Steem's value has risen over 1,500% in the past 7 days and seems to have shown that the idea of a decentralized social media platform that rewards it's users with real value for content they create is something that just makes sense. Why should a social media platform like Facebook be profiting off of it's users' participation and content without paying the users themselves? It should be interesting to see where Steemit goes from here, rewarding users for creating content should allow them more freedom in expressing what they love doing and overall better quality content for users to experience. A big win here for individual content creators.
