So as many of you know the SBD (Steem dollar) is “supposed” to be pegged to the USD. And as you all know SBD has not been even close to 1 USD lately. This brings me to the conclusion that STEEM is a much more profitable investment than SBD. Two reason I believe this. The first reason being if SBD isn’t pegged to the USD anymore than it may skyrocket, but no one knows really if it will ever be capable of what Steem will do this year. The second reason is you may being HODLING SBD hoping it reaches new highs, but if what the Steem team is saying is correct, then there isn’t much value for growth.
What I don’t understand is in the FAQ’s they state that SBD will fluctuate a little but over and a little bit under the USD..THIS HAS NOT BEEN THE CASE. SBD has reached a high of $22 USD which is no wear near the measly $1 USD.
So the question is, should you hold SBD or just dump it all into Steem and eventually be holding a fortune. My suggestion is to keep just a little bit of SBD in your wallet and the rest in Steem and Steem power because this is where you will make the serious profits and interest. Steem is your best bet!
you are absolutely rite and I agree with you
I think we must change our steem Power to Steem Dollars slowly and gradually (applying Power Down can be a good option) :)
I like Steem Dollars to be valued at $1 eventually :)
No I’m saying buy Steem and NOT SBD
OF COURSE, SBD will always tend to 1$
very interesting... never realized how much SBDs are nowadays lol
I like them both they say pegged as thats why they converty so low when you set post at 100% I never do but yeap SBD has a great future brandon thank you
With love,

Very intresting...
Nice post buddy
right bro
Steem White Paper it states: "The primary concern of $steem feed producers is to maintain a stable one-to-one conversion between SBD and the U.S. dollar.
The claim that a minimal USD value can be assured by any crypto currency is untrue and simply untenable.
Unless steemit controls the market of SBD by buying and selling to make the price as close as 1$ as possible.
