RE: STEEM Voter Update (Voting Realizations)

in #steem7 years ago

I can understand that for sure. Some people are worried that someone will post something they don't agree with and their upvote is associated with it. The funniest one to me is that @jerrybanfield has the booster upvote bot and I think that people who don't know that think he is supporting some posts that are controversial but in reality it is just people who paid to have their post boosted. LOL

If I ever decide to run a booster bot like that I would use one of my other accounts so that separation is there between what I'm voting for normally and what is paid upvotes. I'm not necessarily opposed to the booster bots...... I just think a lot of it isn't very profitable for people doing it unless you are really able to push it up to the hot page or trending.

Sort:

I agree. I use randowhale before in the beginning but I was hoping for not 100% profitable.
As long as you are more than 75%, it should be good and it was then but I stop after it was getting lower.

Same here. With SBD prices unpredictable there is no telling half the time if it will play out as profitable at this point. The only way I will use the bots at this point is to push an already popular vote higher to hit "Hot" or Trending but that isn't often.

Yes, that's also a reason to stop but then that's bring also sorts of people claiming to be bots of some upvote service or something. Then you LOL when you look at their SP. At least some had some delegation of sizable amount.
