I go through phases...I just passed my AR/AK phase, and now, I'm all about the bolt-action (.308 Winchester). However, I feel an inkling for the big-bore revolvers. I'm looking to pick up a .500 Smith if one ever happens to go on sale! :)

Very nice. I'm all about precision shooting but focus more on Close to Mid range training at the moment. I don't think I'll ever get out of my AR/AK phase lol.
Yeah, no, don't! I just need to have preferences or flavors of the week because I'll end up carrying stacks of Pelicans if I brought all my calibers into the range! LOL!
Haha no doubt. I know what thats like!
Hey Brother. I just made my first Firearms post. Check it out when you get time. Range videos are at the bottom if you want to skip ahead :) @bullishmoney https://steemit.com/life/@stacking9mm/my-thoughts-on-firearms-the-second-amendment-and-relationships
I'm checking it out right now...hey, I noticed what I think is a Tavor? If so, have you ever shot steel-cased ammo through it, like Wolf or Tulammo?
You guessed correct. I never have shot steel through it but I have with my other pistols and rifles sometimes. My range ammo is mostly WOLF GOLD 223/556 causes its the best bang for the buck and quality ammo. I rarely use steel but I do have some mainly to test out in some rifles to see if they will actually cycle it. The trick with steel case is to not overuse it and to put a few brass rounds in the magazines with the steel rounds to mitigate barrel fouling. I have an AR that has a chrome lined barrel that I wouldn't mind using the steel rounds through since the chrome lining is very resistant to wear and easy to clean. For me it makes more sense to stick with brass though cause the cost isn't much more.
Okay, good to know, thanks! The brass .223 are fairly cheap enough in bulk to justify the cost. Otherwise, the higher I go up in caliber, the more likely I am to go "white brass." :)
And yes, I get a lot of grief from "brassholes," but I'm the guy saving 200% on my .308s! :)
