Justin is officially implementing censorship on STEEMIT :/

in #steem5 years ago

Justin and his "developers" are nailing it again. They've just decided to integrate censorship into the STEEM condenser source code in order to hide Hive related posts.

This was reported by @mahdiyari in this post - good job!

Personally I find it hilarious that they've decided to hard-code specific posts into the condenser source code. Please, can someone tell them that all we have to do is to create another post? Or maybe they will implement further censorship methods into the blockchain code itself - for example you can't post anything with "hive" word of your account will be frozen.

Well, this is a great argument why we should move to https://hive.blog - it's code is not operated by single entity that can do whatever it wants. I really hope Hive will work out because steem in it's current form is just a bad joke :/

Join the community in our migration to Hive, a community built blockchain for the community. All Steem account holders will receive equivalent stake on the new Hive blockchain.

Please see this post on SteemPeak for more information.

You know how it is ... Justin sais: I don't wanna see diz shite.
And his personal asshole saiz: Yess, masssta! I'll do it immediatelly. Hold my !Beer.

Lol...🤣🤣🤣

End of STEEM.

It is not different from what certain tribes or communities do so I don't understand the fuss about it.

Steemit is intended to be decentralized and immune to censorship by single person - opposite to tribes and communities, which have owners.

Thanks for explaining although to my opinion the hives are a part of Steemit and should have the same policy but it's all fine with me. Steemit always had the policy "original content" and a crosspost is not original.

Hallo,
Can you please add me to tipu list?

Sorry, no free spots.
